MN TriClub Century Ride
WHEN:
Sunday, June 21st @ 7:30 am sharp! (Arrive earlier to allow time to get ready)
WHO: MN TriClub members (free), TCMC members ($5) and anyone else who is a non-member but is interested in riding ($10 for non-members). A liability form for NON-MNTRICLUB members is attached (MN TriClub members do not need to sign this form, but all others do including TCMC members). The information asked for on the form can be entered right on your computer (it’s an interactive .PDF form) and then the form can be printed out so that all you have to do is sign it. Please print it, sign it and bring it along with your payment (exact change greatly appreciated) to help speed up the registration process and get you out on the course quicker. VERY IMPORTANT: on your RSVP, please state which club you are a member of so we can keep the sign-in hassles to a minimum!
WHERE: Parkers Lake Park in Plymouth (Click here for directions). When you get to the park, turn right (north) into the parking lot as we meet and leave from that parking lot (it’s near the ball fields on the north side of Hwy 6 – it’s NOT the lot on the south side of Hwy 6 by the lake). Meet at the park no later than 7:15 am (earlier is much, much better) and gather for a list of instructions, to get your map of the route and to pay your fee/sign a waiver if you are not a MN TriClub member.
IMPORTANT REST STOP INFO: Both Rest Stops are shown on the map. Rest Stop #1 is in Watertown at approximately Mile 19. Tri Club items will be available at Rest Stop #1 until 2:30 pm when they will be picked up. Rest Stop #2 is in Lester Prairie at approximately Mile 38. Tri Club items will be available from 9am until 12:30 pm when they will be picked up. Please plan accordingly! Also, since these are private places of business, if you are using the restrooms there please consider purchasing a small item from them to help give us a better image. And there’s always the woods behind Rest Stop #2 if you only have to pee. J

All riders of all abilities are welcome to join us. The only thing we absolutely require are bike helmets, although eye protection (sunglasses) and sunscreen (at least SPF 30) are strongly, strongly encouraged. Also, bring as many water bottles as your bike can carry as well as an extra tube or two. And finally, if it’s going to be extremely hot, it’s also a good idea to bring an electrolyte replacement (like Endurolytes or salt tablets) and some gels (GU, Hammer Gel, etc.) along. Bonking is not fun, so be a prepared triathlete!

Please RSVP for this ride by Friday, June 19th to Art15651@frontiernet.net.
